i thought i'd start this blog with one of the pictures that ended my last one. this one, taken late afternoon by the rio de la plata, had me sitting on concrete and rebar and wondering how i'd mistook an estuary for an ocean.so i leave for berlin on saturday. the second time in two years moving to a country with little or no working knowledge of the language. this time, however, its just me. you can find the other peregringo far afield on another continent. so its a solo mission, less company, maybe more time to make the posts funny. i hope so, anyways.
but berlin promises a few things: love parade, german classes taught by germans and visits with old friends. its enough to keep me excited even though getting there is going to be interesting.
